Urbis Designday is a public design event for design lovers and enthusiasts that takes place on one day across different design locations dotted around central Auckland and the city fringe. At each stop, there is a different design installation - something completely unique that you wouldn’t encounter on any other day - created by a design collaboration (i.e. a furniture showroom partnered with an interior designer).

Free transport is provided to all Urbis Designday guests from 10am to 5pm on the day. The transport runs in a continuous circuit so you can start anywhere (on the map provided) and at any time, and continue to the next stop from there.

Partnership Opportunities

Urbis Designday offers a variety of ways for suppliers and other businesses associated with interior design to become involved as partners, sharing the values and aspirations of the event and its aim to promote and celebrate authenticity and creativity in design in all its forms.
